Don Masto This album is a force of nature. Unrelenting, skillful and raw. Love at first listen. Pure quality.

Wallow Within I think that Death Fortress can easily be named among bands like Absu, Krieg and Black Funeral. The USBM underground really has something to offer for everybody and this album should definatly be named among that list. DF generate lots of their magic with their droning guitars and that distinctive voice.

Matthew Toye The only word I can seem to come up with as a description is 'beefcake'. These are some robust tunes! Death Fortress remain unique with their death metal approach to black metal. Favorite track: Power from Beyond the Stars.
Ippocalyptica

Ippocalyptica The follow up to one of my favourite albums of 2014, Deathless March... is my most-listened-to metal album of 2016 so far. Musically this is fairly similar to Among the Ranks, though the compositions are a little tighter, musical proficiency is a bit higher (from an already-high level), and tempos are even more blistering (except for the last track). This is the perfect synthesis of the best of second-wave Norwegian black metal with modern American extreme metal sensibilities. Buy or die! Favorite track: Power from Beyond the Stars.

Andrej Romić New record by the US black metal band Death Fortress, a follow up to their debut album Among the Ranks of the Unconquerable. If you like Sacramentum/ Hate Forest, then give these guys a listen... Favorite track: Enthroning the Oppressor.
Meatbreak

Meatbreak This is quite a phenomenal album. Simultaneously crushing and subtle, with some absolutely mega hooks, and pulsing riffs. Favorite track: Power from Beyond the Stars.
